ATSC Delivers Rapid Reaction Tunnel Detection Kits to U.S. Army
Advanced Technology Systems Company has delivered 51 Rapid Reaction Tunnel Detection (R2TD) kits to the U.S Army, for $27.4 million. This contract is the first under the $997,000,000 Force Protection Omnibus ID/IQ contract.
ATSC worked with U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), to acquire, integrate, test and deliver the R2TD kits for installation at selected sites in Central Asia. The R2TD kits are comprised of a suite of active and passive electronic detection subsystems that enable receiving facilities to detect covert tunneling activities and enhance the overall security of the sites for US and Allied Forces in the region. Each kit was designed to tackle specific tasks in theater ranging from perimeter security and surveillance to tunnel detection and inspection.
ATSC delivered all the materials on time under the accelerated delivery schedule of 90, 120 and 150 days for various kits.
ATSC is providing 24/7 help desk warranty support for fielded equipment.
