ATSC Wins a Contract to Deliver the Force Protection Omnibus - Rapid Reaction Tunnel Detection (R2TD)

Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) has been awarded by U.S Army Contracting Command, Natick Contracting Division, the contract to deliver the Force Protection Omnibus - Rapid Reaction Tunnel Detection (R2TD). This award is the first made under the $997,000,000 Force Protection Omnibus ID/IQ contract. This Delivery Order (D.O. #1) base value is $15.6 million.
Under this contract, ATSC will work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), to acquire, integrate, test and deliver the R2TD, for installation at selected sites in Afghanistan. The R2TD is comprised of suite of subsystems that will enable the receiving facilities the ability to detect covert tunneling activities, and enhance the overall security of the sites and US and Allied Forces in the region.
