Vice Admiral Landay has over 35 years of proven leadership experience in small, medium and large organizations. As a Retired Navy Vice Admiral, he is currently President of WE LANDAY Consulting, focusing on Foreign Military Sales, International Business, DoD Acquisition and DoD Science and Technology. During his distinguished career with the Navy, Vice Admiral Landay served as Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency; Program Executive Officer for Littoral and Mine Warfare programs; Program Executive Officer for US Navy non-nuclear shipbuilding programs; and the 21st Chief of Naval Research.
Landay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He also has a Master of Science degree in Systems Technology (C4I) from the Naval Postgraduate School, and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School. He was the 1998-1999 Navy Fellow in the Defense Systems Management College, Military Research Fellowship Program. He is a DoD level three certified acquisition professional and a proven subspecialist in C4I Systems. VADM Landay is a member of the US Naval Institute, the Navy League and the Surface Navy Association.
