Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) enjoyed large crowds of on lookers as it displayed its Mobile Border Surveillance System (MBSS-80) mobile/nomadic surveillance trailer platform at the AUSA Exposition on Oct 8-10th, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The MBSS-80 was outfitted with a Long-Range Mil-STD-810 tested EO/IR Multi sensor with Laser Range Finder and GPS, a Broadband microwave PTP/PMP communications system, a high-performance MIL-STD-810 tested Ground Surveillance Radar and a passive long wave spectral chemical detector.
Each sensor system could be manipulated and had its data displayed on a workstations located inside an environmentally controlled shelter. The Field proven Command and Control software package was demonstrated, in addition to the readily available mobile border and maritime surveillance system. ATSC also showcased it's iFIDS (intelligent Fiber Optic Intrusion Detection System)critical infrastructure security system, Precision Air Drop capabilities and Worldwide Logistics capabilities.
